1717 Andry Precast Prototype

Ryan Bramlett & Nik Makela

1717 Andry Precast Prototype is a national winner of the 2022 Habitat for Humanity ACSA competition. The design explores modular prefabricated concrete construction designed to accommodate the mandates of changing global climate through lifetime carbon reduction and resilience. Located in the historic Lower 9th Ward of New Orleans, the scalable design combines local cultural and architectural traditions with the need for homes that offer refuge and retain value in the face of extreme weather events.
